Baby Hannah is the couple’s second child. They already have a son named Micah Emmanuel.
Proud parents said: “We are thrilled to welcome baby Hannah Mali Rose to our family”.
Born over three weeks early, daughter Hannah Mali Rose Lanfer weighed 6 lbs., 14 oz. and measured 21 inches.
Taking to Twitter to explain the name choice, Sarah wrote: “I’ve always loved the name “Hannah”. It means “grace” or “favor” and Hannah was also a Biblical figure who had tremendous faith in God.
“We chose Rose because it is one of the few flowers that blooms in December and we liked the way the names sounded together.
“And there you have it! Hannah Mali Rose Lanfer.”

Sarah Drew is an American actress. She is known for playing Hannah Rogers in The WB family drama series Everwood and Dr. April Kepner in the ABC medical drama series Grey’s Anatomy.
Drew was born in Charlottesville, Virginia and raised in Stony Brook, New York, where she attended The Stony Brook School. Her father, Rev. Charles Drew, is the senior pastor at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in New York City. She received a bachelor’s degree in drama from the University of Virginia in 2002. She began acting in school plays, community theater with Take One Theatre Arts, and summer stock.
Drew married Peter Lanfer who is a lecturer at UCLA, in June 2002. Couple had first child On January 18, 2012 a son named Micah Emmanuel.
